CyberSource

CyberSource is a leading global provider of credit card processing, fraud and security risk management solutions. CyberSource can transact payments in more than 190 countries and territories, and fund in more than 40 currencies with connections to approximately 100 acquirers and processors worldwide.

Enabling CyberSource

To enable CyberSource with your Sertifi portal, you must contact CyberSource and obtain your Merchant ID (MID) as well as your profile ID. You'll also need to generate a REST API key; instructions for generating a key can be found on the CyberSource website. Note that most organizations will use the HTTP Signature authentication method.

Once you receive this information from CyberSource, provide it to your Customer Success Manager.

Within your CyberSource portal, you must set up the following:

  • Profile - in CyberSource
    • Create a new profile and select Integration Method Web/Mobile and Payment Tokenization in the new profile.
    • Update the Payment Settings via Add/Edit Card Types. Then, click the pencil icon to enable currencies. Select CVN Display, CVN Required, and Payer Authentication.
  • Automatic Authorization Reversal
    • Select Fails AVS check and Fails CVN check and save in your CyberSource portal.
  • Security - in CyberSource
    • Scroll over the active key, and then click it. Copy and paste the Access Key and the Secret Key into a notepad program.
    • Copy and paste these keys into your Sertifi portal Payment Gateway settings in the Profile Access Key and Profile Secret Key fields. You must be a Sertifi Super Admin to complete this step. For more information about Payment Gateway settings, see Payment Settings - Super Admin.
  • iCustomer Response Pages - in CyberSource
    • Update any URLs hosted by you.
  • Account Management - in CyberSource
    1. Navigate to Transaction Security KeysSecurity Keys for the SOAP Toolkit API > Generate Key.
    2. Copy and paste the API key into a notepad program.
    3. Copy and paste the API key into the Sertifi portal into your Payment Gateway settings.

Setup Checklist

For the best setup experience, ensure your Customer Service representative at Sertifi has access to the following:

  • API Security Key
  • 3-D Secure Status (it should be enabled)
  • Merchant ID
  • Profile Access Key
  • Profile ID
  • Profile Secret Key
  • REST API Key
  • REST API Key Secret
  • Retry Limit (0-5)
